A blessed Ramadan, Eid Mubarak, and best greetings to our entire Omeid International family.
We are proud to announce a new phase in our mission to bring hope to Afghanistan’s orphans and build a brighter future for the war torn nation.
Thanks to the great generosity of our donors, we have been able to send a group of our children on the journey of a lifetime to attend a premiere preparatory school in India.
They are already doing great. Mr. Zakir, the Principal of the school, had this to say of our amazing boys:
“I have never seen such bold kids, I thought they would need time to settle in and become comfortable with a new country, foreign language and hundreds of other students, but they are fearless and will do well here on our campus.”
We couldn’t be more proud of them – or more excited. This opportunity will take them to places never before imagined.
It also will set them on a direct course toward college. Since we first set out to open our orphanage, it has always been a goal for us to give our kids a chance at a higher education – a key step for them to become the leaders that will rebuild Afghanistan.
Along with the many individuals that have made this opportunity possible, we would especially like to thank our friends at Cultures of Resistance for their generous funding help on this program.
In addition, we also are proud to announce another new project in Afghanistan.
We have just made plans to open a brand new facility in the western Afghan city of Herat. In order to do so, we will team our long-time friends from Give Light Foundation and our new partners at the Orphan House foundation.
This new institute – built on donated land and fully owned by the three organizations – will seek to follow in the footsteps of our success in Kabul by continuing to offer hope and opportunity for a generation of kids forsaken by the harsh realities of war.
We are in the planning stages and need to raise as much money as we can so that we can commit to helping as many children as possible.
Please donate $25 today to ensure that we are able to maintain the grand vision of hope that has brought us this far.
The Omeid International family has come a long way over the years, but we still have so much to do. Together, we can keep making the world a better place – one child at a time.
Thanks for your continued support.
